Dr. Santosh Shetty, CEO and Executive Director of Kokilaben hospital, issued a statement to share an update about Kapoor’s health. He informed that the ‘Lafange’ star’s condition is stable.

"Veteran actor Mr. Randhir Kapoor was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani On Wednesday night for treatment of COVID-19. His condition is stable," the statement read.

Randhir worked as a child artist in the 1950s in films like 'Shri 420' (1955) and 'Do Ustad' (1956). The ‘Haath Ki Safai’ actor made his debut as a leading hero in 'Kal Aaj Kal'. The movie also starred his father Raj Kapoor and his grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor.
