Kangana Meets UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Thanks Him For Gifting Coin Used In Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan

Kangana Ranaut wished UP CM Yogi Adityanath luck for the upcoming Assembly Elections in 2022.

Lucknow: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday (October 1) in Lucknow at his official residence. The ‘Queen’ star arrived in UP’s capital city after wrapping up the Moradabad schedule of her film ‘Tejas’. She thanked the state government for extending support to her movie’s team. 

UP government on Friday also announced that Kangana will be the brand ambassador of One District One Product Programme.

Kangana-Yogi Adityanath’s Meeting 

The National Award-winning actress shared a series of photos with the BJP leader on her official Instagram handle and wished him luck for the upcoming UP Assembly Elections 2022. She revealed that Adityanath gifted her a coin, which was used at Ram Mandir’s bhumi pujan ceremony. 

“I thanked Uttar Pradesh government for their cooperation in our film ( Tejas) shooting and wished Honourable Chief Minister best of luck in his upcoming election. I emphasised that we had a tapasavi Raja from Uttar Pradesh Shri Ram Chandra and now we have Yogi AdityaNath … May your reign continues Maharaj ji,” Kangana wrote. 

She added, “He gifted me a coin which was used at Ram Janm Bhumi Pujan. What a memorable evening thank you Maharaj ji.” 

Kangana also shared a video wherein UP CM Adityanath can be seen gifting her the coin. She talked about her new film 'Ayodhya' while posting the video on social media. 

"Honourable Chief Minister ji gifting me the coin which was used at Ramjanm Bhumi Pujan. I am making a film called Ayodhya on Ram temple. This is a good omen aur how we call in Hindi Aashirwad. Jai Shri Ram," Ranaut wrote.

Kangana and the crew of 'Tejas' shot a sequence of the film in Moradabad. Earlier in the day, the 'Panga' actress revealed that she landed in Lucknow after wrapping the shoot in Moradabad on Friday morning. The Pahadi beauty is playing the role of an IAF office in the movie, which is being directed by Sarvesh Mewara.

Kangana Ranaut's Upcoming Films

On the professional front, Ranaut was recently seen in 'Thalaivii', which is based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The film co-starring Arvin Swamy, Nassar and Raj Arjun released in theatres last month. 

Kangana has several exciting movies in her kitty including 'Dhaakad', 'Manikarnika Returns' and 'The Incarnation: Sita'. She is also producing a film under her home banner.
