During the event, the lead cast spoke about the film on stage. After Amitabh, Kamal, and Prabhas spoke, Deepika Padukone was invited to the stage. As she rose from the couch, Rana rushed to assist her, however, Amitabh Bachchan came forward and helped her to go on stage.

As Deepika descended from the stage, Prabhas assisted her, prompting Amitabh to playfully chide him for beating him to it, pulling Prabhas from behind and eliciting laughter from the audience and media.

Deepika's humorous reply when asked about pregnancy

During the event, Rana jokingly inquired if Deepika stayed in character even after filming her role as the pregnant Sumati (or SUM-80). Deepika also gave a witty reply.

"The movie went on for three years, I was like, why not 9 months more. I’m actually like this because of all the food Prabhas fed me. It got to the point where it was a full catering service, not just food from home. He feeds from the heart,” she was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

Before attending the event, Deepika shared pictures of herself in a stunning black dress, captioning them with, “Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!”
