Bollywood actress Kajol shared a heartwarming photo with her mother Tanuja after her recent surgery.

New Delhi: Veteran actress and Kajol’s mother Tanuja underwent a surgery at Lilavati hospital last month after she was diagnosed with diverticulitis. Kajol was spotted visiting her mom, a day after her father-in-law Veeru Devgan’s demise.  Tanuja was admitted to the hospital on May 28 after she complained of some pain in abdomen, as per reports. For the uninitiated, diverticulitis is inflammation or infection of small pouches called diverticula that develop along the walls of the intestines. RIP Veeru Devgan: PICS! The mother-daughter duo can be seen smiling in the photo and it is bound to make you teary-eyed. We can notice Tanuja’s drastic weight loss in the picture. “This is just a great big THANK YOU to everyone who has called and prayed and thought of us. This smile that you see is of sheer gratitude,’’ Kajol captioned the photo.

Post her father-in-law’s demise, Kajol was juggling between Devgan household as well taking care of her mother’s health. The actress, who was last seen in ‘Helicopter Eela’, had shared a heartfelt post for Veeru Devgan on social media.
