Pappu Polyester, who is said to be related to Nawab Wajid Ali Shah- the tenth Nawab of Awadh, had a successful career spanning over 25 years. He was part of films like ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’, ‘Khoya Khoya Chand’, ‘Phool Aur Angaar’, ‘Tumse Achcha Kaun’ and ‘Hero Hindustani’, to name a few.
For the uninitiated, Pappu was also a classical dancer and had won an award for the best classical dance from prominent Kathak dancer Pandit Birju Maharaj. He was also felicitated with the honour of doctorate in acting by Uttar Pradesh's Ambedkar University.
We express our deepest condolence to the actor’s family. The film industry will definitely miss Pappu Polyester.
