New Delhi: 'Bawaal' starring Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan will soon be releasing in July on Prime Video.The NiteshTiwari directorial is set in the backdrop of World War II and has been extensively shot across Europe. Now, it seems that the makers have found the most apt place to premiere the romantic love story. 'Bawaal' will be making its international premiere at  the Gustave Eiffel in Paris before it drops on Amazon Prime Video in July. 


Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the film who said, "Bawaal will be the first Indian Film to have its premiere at the Eiffel Tower. The premiere will take place at the exquisite Salle Gustave Eiffel, offering a panoramic view of the city of love as the backdrop. Apart from Varun, Janhvi, Sajid, and Nitesh, the premiere will be attended by movie enthusiasts and French delegates, making it one of the biggest premieres for an Indian film."


A couple of days ago Prime Video shared the first look poster of 'Bawaal' on Instagram with a caption, "Badlega sabke dilon ka haal kyunki duniya bhar mein hone wala hai Bawaal 💥 Iss July... banega mahaul as #BawaalGoesGlobal Produced by #SajidNadiadwala and directed by @niteshtiwari22, #BawaalOnPrime to premiere worldwide in over 200 countries and territories only on @primevideoin."


 






'Bawaal' has been backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandsons. The film has been in the making for the last two years now. The film was announced in 2020 and wrapped up in July last year.


Last week, it was announced that 'Bawaal' will now have an OTT premiere. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the date change when ‘Bawaal’ was supposed to be released in theatres. He said, "VARUN DHAWAN - JANHVI KAPOOR: 'BAWAAL' NEW RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED… #Bawaal - which reunites producer #SajidNadiadwala and director #NiteshTiwari after #Chhichhore - to release on 6 Oct 2023… Stars #VarunDhawan and #JanhviKapoor."


Earlier, ‘Bawaal’ was supposed to be released on April 7, 2023. However, as per reports, the delay is because of VFX issues. 


Fans are super excited to see what the fresh pairing of Varun and Janhvi will bring to the screen for the first time.
