New Delhi: Janhvi Kapoor remembered her late mother and veteran actress Sridevi on her 57th birthday anniversary. The star kid, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Dhadak’ opposite Ishaan Khatter, shared a black-and-white throwback picture with her mommy on social media. Janhvi can be seen hugging Sridevi while the mother-daughter duo posed for the camera.

The 23-year-old actress shared the memory on her Instagram handle along with the caption, "I love you mumma." Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan, Maheep Kapoor and other celebs dropped comments on the post. Check it out!

Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor penned a heartfelt post on her birthday. The 'Wanted' producer shared two throwback snaps in which he can be seen posing with his wife. In one of the photos, we can see little Janhvi in Sridevi's arms while Boney looked at his baby girl.

"Jaan missing you lots every second of the 900 days you left us , but more so today to see the joy on your face for the good reaction to Janu’s  work in Gunjan, I wish you were here with us, our joy is incomplete without you. Happy birthday my love my life," Kapoor wrote.



Sridevi, who was known for her power-packed performances, left for her heavenly abode in February 2018. She passed away after drowning in a bathtub in a Dubai hotel.



Talking about Janhvi Kapoor, the actress' second feature film 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' premiered directly on Netflix on August 12. The movie, directed by Sharan Sharma, has received mixed reviews from the fans and critics.

On the professional front, Janhvi has 'Dostana 2' and 'RoohiAfza' in pipeline.
