On Wednesday, the trailer of one of the most anticipated movies of 2020, ‘Sadak 2’, starring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt & Aditya Roy Kapoors was released and by late afternoon it had received a million 'dislikes' on YouTube. The trailer of a big film, especially with top stars, generally gets many more likes but this has been reversed for Sadak 2.

The trailer has so far received 5.6 million ‘dislikes’ on the video sharing platform, with a massively unfavourable ‘like-dislike’ ratio. With more than 15 million views, only 3,38,000 people have ‘liked’ the trailer by the time of writing.

Ever since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his fans have been adamant on social media, calling for boycott of the movies of "star kids" and on Wednesday these "fans" headed to YouTube to express their feelings towards director Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2.

Within hours of its release on August 12, Sadak 2 managed to get downvoted 2.7 million times and the numbers are increasing with every refresh on it.

With this the trailer of Sadak 2 beats the dislike video of Swedish gamer PewDiePie's video "Can this video get 1 million dislikes?" coming close second with 93% dislikes at 4.88 million dislikes.

Sadak 2, a sequel to his 1991 film starring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja, will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on August 28.

Meanwhile, Alia’s half-sister Pooja Bhatt who was the lead actress in film’s prequel Sadak has reacted to the trailer of her upcoming film, Sadak 2, being targeted online. She has said that she is pleased that the chatter around the film’s trailer has made it the number one trending video on YouTube.

Reacting to a tweet, Pooja wrote that she is not worried about the online attacks that have been launched against the film. “Lovers/Haters two sides of the same coin. Gotta hand it to both for giving us their valuable time and making sure we are trending. Thank you for your wishes,” she wrote.
