Is Tara Sutaria the reason why KJo didn’t take Ishaan Khatter in SOTY 2?

Ishaan Khatter, who played the role of Madhukar in Karan Johar’s ‘Dhadak’s, has won millions of hearts for his performance in the film. The Shashank Khaitan directorial, which is the Hindi remake of Marathi movie ‘Sairat’,  is doing wonders at the box office. Rumour mills were once buzzing with the news that Ishaan would be part of KJo’s ‘Student of the Year 2’. Speculations were rife that the 21-year-old actor would in the second installment of SOTY, which is being directed by Puneet Malhotra. We had earlier informed you that Ishaan won’t be seen in SOTY 2 and Tiger Shroff is the lead actor of the film. The two leading ladies opposite Tiger are Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. If a recent report in a leading daily is to go by, Ishaan wasn’t cast in ‘Student of the Year 2’ because of his alleged relationship with one of the film’s actresses- Tara Sutaria. Ishaan and Tara were once said to be dating each other but things didn’t end well on a good note for the two of them. Karan Johar thought it would be wise to keep the alleged former lovebirds away from each other and hence went on to cast Tiger Shroff in SOTY 2, the report in Mumbai Mirror suggested. Tara, who is making her big Bollywood debut with ‘Student of the Year 2’, is said to be dating late Vinod Mehra’s son Rohan Mehra. There are speculations that 'The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir' actress has been approached to play the female protagonist  in Arjun Reddy's Hindi remake which stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. Ali Bhatt, Varun Dhawan & Sidharth Malhotra, who were part of the first installment, will be shaking their legs along with Tiger Shroff for a special song in the film.
