New Delhi: After giving away to the neuroendocrine tumour, the actor with an abundance of talent, Irrfan Khan breathed his last on 29th April 2020. Although it has been more than two months since his demise, the late actor is still being reminisced by his family and fans. The thought of not watching him on the big screen ever again leaves his fans shattered and heartbroken.

As all of this is happening, the late actor’s wife Sutapa Sikdar posted some throwback pictures of her husband and son Babil Khan where she was seen cherishing some memories of her husband when they visited North Bengal for ‘Qareeb Qareeb Single’.

While handing out these memories to the world, her caption read, “Its one of those days #nostalgia #northbengal. I wish I lived near a river #childhood memories of north Bengal. wild moist fragrant during rains. Teesta is not a river it’s a saga #revisiting with Irrfan and Babil for #qareebqareebsingle. how I wish could just visit once more".

Sutapa Sikdar also shared a heartfelt note on Irrfan Khan’s social media after the actor left for his heavenly abode which started as, “How can I write this as a family statement when the whole world is taking it as a personal loss? How can I begin to feel alone when millions are grieving with us at the moment? I want to assure everyone that this is not a loss, it is a gain. It’s a gain of the things he taught us, and now we shall finally begin to truly implement it and evolve. Yet I want to try to fill in the things that people don’t already know."

Simultaneously, the late actor’s son Babil Khan also keeps on sharing some unseen and happy pictures and videos of his father with inspiring captions.

On the professional front, Irrfan Khan was last seen in 'Angrezi Medium'. The film co-starring Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan couldn't enjoy a long run at the box office as the cinema halls were shut due to COVID-19 lockdown.
