It has almost been a month now, but the drastic step taken by Sushant Singh Rajput has not only left his fans devastated but also sprung up multiple queries in their heads. In the face of all this, the Mumbai Police is doing their bit to interrogate almost everyone in Bollywood and the cinema world at large who had a close association with the deceased actor.


Lately, director Shekhar Kapur was also called for his statement on June 29th but as he was not in the city, the director has conveyed his detailed statement through email to the police in which he disclosed that the late actor was shattered when his film ‘Pani’ with YRF was put off due to creative differences between the actor and the production house. Shekhar Kapur also indicated that this was the possible reason for the actor battling depression.

Based on the report, Shekhar Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput started working on this 150 crore project where the latter was working very hard for his character ‘Gora’ in the movie. A day after this unfortunate incident, Shekhar Kapur took to twitter to share his grief, "I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder. I wish I was around the last 6 months. I wish you had reached out to me. What happened to you was their Karma. Not yours. #SushantSinghRajput."

While many of the actor’s fans have demanded for a CBI inquiry over different platforms of social media where hashtags like #WhyDelayInCBIForSSR, #PMModiCBIForSSR, #CBIMustForSushant, #CBIForSonOfBihar keeps on trending almost every day, the police on the other hand have cross-questioned his SSR’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for 10 hours, his friend Sandip Ssingh and his roommate Sidharth Pithani was also interrogated thrice by the police. Other than that, the actor’s Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi, casting director Shanoo Sharma and Sanjay Leela Bhansali was also called in for questioning.
