I need her in my life: Ranbir Kapoor on ex-flame Katrina Kaif
NEW DELHI: Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's breakup after six years of dating shocked their fans. The stars who broke up during shooting of their 'ambitious' project 'Jagga Jasoos' are now back together for the film's promotions and we must say, their recent chemistry has surprised everyone. Though they are no more together but staying true to their profession they haven't let their past differences come in mid of their work.
They can be seen pulling each other's leg and their banter is just winning hearts of their fans. During the shooting of this long pending movie, reports emerged that ex-lovebirds are not getting along well with each other. However, their attitude towards each other at present are putting those rumours to rest.
Ranbir recently broke his dignified silence on his chemistry with Kat and spoke at length on their bonding. When questioned by India Today on how he coped with sudden change in relationship with Katrina which happened during the course of shooting 'Jagga Jasoos', he answered, "I have been working with Katrina since my third film - Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani. I really enjoy my creative partnership with her. The people that we are, we come with the intention to give the best to our work. I don't think we have every carried personal baggage to the set and that's the way it should be."
"Films are an expensive medium. Its other people's time and money, there are hundreds of people who are dependent on you. And my relationship with Katrina, whatever has been said or written by the media or the conjectures, it has always been a very positive one. I don't think I can miss having her in my life. I need her in my life. She has such a positive influence on me, as a person and as an actor, and she'll continue being that. That's what it is. There is nothing like not talking to each other or not showing up. It was a lot of hard work not just by me but also by her. She is equally as important in the film as I am. She has stood by this film for three and a half years. She is like the producer of this film. I am very grateful for that partnership I have with her. I admire it," he said.
Hopefully, this statement by Ranbir puts full stop to all gossips about his relationship with the 'Jagga Jasoos' co-star. On the work front, the movie is all set to hit theatres on July 14.
