I have a challenging role in 'Kalank': Sonakshi Sinha
New Delhi: Expressing her excitement about the upcoming multi-starrer film 'Kalank', Sonakshi Sinha gushed that just to be a part of the period-drama is "surreal." The 'Dabangg' star - who features on the cover of 'Hello' magazine - further stated that the entire star cast, which comprises of Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kunal Kemmu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt, will appear in roles they haven't portrayed before.
"Kalank is a period film in which the star cast is stellar," she told the publication. "I have a challenging role and the story is incredible! Just to be a part of the film is surreal. Everyone in the film is playing a role you haven't seen them in before so it will be a treat for audiences. I'm very excited about it!"
Sonakshi turned cover girl for the November 'Festive Special' edition of the magazine. The 31-year-old looks stunning in a Falguni Shane Peacock embellished lehenga.
The official Instagram account of the publication shared the cover. "HELLO! celebrates the sparkle and shine of the Festive Season with #SonakshiSinha @aslisona as she embarks on any exciting new innings in her personal and professional life," read the caption.
It added, "She takes HELLO! behind-the-scenes of the Sinha household to talk about special family Diwali moments while honouring family and love and shares insights into her exciting new projects on the anvil, #Kalank and #Dabangg3" While talking about the festival of lights and what it means to her family, the actor said that Diwali puja is a time when the entire family comes together.
