Meanwhile, Mohanlal's close Malayalam-language film industry colleagues, including Mammootty, actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran, and others, posted well wishes for the actor, on social media. 

Despite being arch-rivals on the big screen for the past four decades, the two biggest superstars of Malayalam film industry, Mammootty and Mohanlal, have a strong relationship and brotherly bond in real life. The superstar, as always, posted a special message on his official social media accounts to wish his close friend Mohanlal a happy birthday. Mammootty shared a beautiful photo of him and Mohanlal holding hands on his social media accounts. The veteran actor wished Mohanlal a happy birthday in the post's description. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who will soon reunite with Mohanlal for the sequel to Lucifer, dubbed 'L2: Empuraan', wished his star by unveiling a unique poster for their collaboration.
