New Delhi: Mohanlal turns 63 years old, today, on May 21. Several close friends and family members are said to have attended the superstar's private birthday celebration this year, which was hosted at his home in Kochi. On this auspicious day, the fans are counting on the producers of Mohanlal's upcoming flicks to provide them the most eagerly anticipated details. Meanwhile, Mohanlal's close Malayalam-language film industry colleagues, including Mammootty, actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran, and others, posted well wishes for the actor, on social media. 

Despite being arch-rivals on the big screen for the past four decades, the two biggest superstars of Malayalam film industry, Mammootty and Mohanlal, have a strong relationship and brotherly bond in real life. The superstar, as always, posted a special message on his official social media accounts to wish his close friend Mohanlal a happy birthday. Mammootty shared a beautiful photo of him and Mohanlal holding hands on his social media accounts. The veteran actor wished Mohanlal a happy birthday in the post's description. The million-dollar image that Mammootty posted has gone viral on social media.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, who will soon reunite with Mohanlal for the sequel to Lucifer, dubbed 'L2: Empuraan', wished his star by unveiling a unique poster for their collaboration.
