'Good Newwz' Box Office Collection: Akshay-Kareena's Film Packs A SOLID Punch On Day 1

Karan Johar's 'Good Newwz' has started on a flying note at the box office.

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Good Newwz’, which released on December 27, has started on a flying note at the box office. The comedy drama has set the cash registers jingling on its opening day. The Raj Mehta directorial, which was the last release of 2019, has managed to rake in big moolah on first day. ‘Good Newwz’, which has received good reviews from the critics and fans, collected Rs 17.56 crore on Friday. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first day box office collection of ‘Good Newwz’ on Twitter. Taran mentioned that the film picked up pace from evening shows. “#GoodNewwz packs a solid total on Day 1... Gathers speed from evening shows... Multiplexes especially record excellent numbers... North circuits dominate... Biz should multiply on Day 2 and 3... Fri ₹ 17.56 cr. #India biz... 2019 concludes with #GoodNewwz,” Adarsh wrote on the micro-blogging site.

'Good Newwz', which is about the tryst of two couple with IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation), has been produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films.
