Ganesh Chaturthi 2021: Big B, Varun Dhawan, Ajay Devgn & Other B-Town Celebs Welcome 'Vighnaharta', Extend Warm Wishes To Fans
Ganesh Chaturthi 2021: While some celebs shared throwback pictures, others asked their fans to celebrate the festival safely, keeping in mind the precautionary measures against COVID-19.
Mumbai: Several Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit and Varun Dhawan took to social media to extend warm wishes to their fans on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 2021. The tinsel town stars shared heartfelt greetings to their followers and asked them to celebrate the festival safely amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ajay Devgn, who was last seen in ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, shared a throwback snap on Instagram to wish his fans. He revealed that the picture was clicked at Mumbai’s Lalbaug.
“Lord Ganesha is the harbinger of all things good—peace, prosperity, progress, happiness & health. Let’s join our hands in prayer to welcome our favourite deity today. Ganpati Bappa Morya," Ajay captioned his post.
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’, also extended his wishes to his social media family. He shared a post on his Instagram handle on the occasion of Ganeshotsav.
Varun Dhawan shared a still from a film wherein he can be seen performing the aarti. The ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ star wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Soha Ali Khan shared adorable pictures with her daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu along with an important message. She wrote, "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi ! As we think about new beginnings and try to clear obstacles from our path let us celebrate and pray in a responsible way that does not set us back. Abide by the rules, wear your masks, do not congregate in numbers larger than those allowed - and if you haven’t already done so please do get vaccinated."
