What was the creative process like for "Dil Ki Battery Dying Dying"? Did you have a specific vision for the song from the beginning?

Working on “Dil Ki Battery Dying” was such a fun and exciting process! Right from the start, we wanted to create something fresh and full of energy that people could instantly connect with. The idea of a “dying battery” just clicked—it’s so relatable and added that playful vibe we were aiming for. We built the whole song around this theme, mixing catchy lyrics with a vibrant tune that you can’t help but hum along to. It was all about keeping it light, fun, and super engaging, and we had an absolute blast bringing it to life!

How did you and Ruslaan Mumtaz develop such great on-screen chemistry? Was it your first time working together?

Ruslaan and I hit it off right away, which made working together so much easier and more enjoyable. This was actually our first time collaborating, but from the start, we shared a great comfort level and understanding. We both brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the set, which helped us connect naturally. Plus, Ruslaan is such a fantastic co-actor—his spontaneity and warmth made every scene feel real and effortless. It was a great experience, and I think that chemistry translated beautifully on screen!

The song has a unique and fun vibe. What kind of mood or emotions did you want the audience to feel while listening to it?

With this song, we wanted the audience to feel pure joy and have fun! The vibe is all about lightheartedness, energy, and relatability. Whether you’re stuck in traffic, dealing with a hectic day, or just feeling low, we hoped the song would instantly uplift your mood and bring a smile to your face. It’s playful, quirky, and designed to make you forget your worries for a while and just enjoy the moment!

What challenges, if any, did you face while working on this song?

The biggest challenge was balancing the song’s fun, quirky vibe with a fresh and relatable feel. We put in a lot of effort to ensure the lyrics, music, and visuals came together perfectly. Keeping up the energy during shoots was another task, but the amazing team and great vibes made it all worthwhile. In the end, every challenge added to the fun!

How do you feel the song fits into the narrative of Kathakaar? Does it represent a pivotal moment in the story?

The song plays an important role in Kathakaar, adding a vibrant and refreshing layer to the narrative. While the film has intense and emotional undertones, this song serves as a lighter, more playful moment, giving the audience a breather. It doesn’t just entertain but also highlights a pivotal shift in the character’s journey, reflecting their emotions and inner energy at that point in the story.

As an artist, are you exploring new genres or styles of music in the future?

As an artist, I’m always looking to grow and explore new genres and styles. Music and storytelling offer endless opportunities to experiment with different sounds, themes, and vibes, and I’m excited to dive into new creative challenges. In fact, a new video song is releasing soon where I play the role of a mute girl—an experience that truly pushed me to explore a different side of performance. I can’t wait to share it with everyone!

What is one dream collaboration you hope to achieve in the next few years?

One dream collaboration I hope to achieve in the next few years is with a visionary artist or director who redefines creativity and storytelling. I aspire to be part of a project that not only challenges me as an artist but also resonates deeply with audiences—something meaningful, transformative, and unforgettable. Collaborating on a story that leaves a lasting impact would be the ultimate achievement for me.
