Filmfare Awards 2021: Kangana Congratulates Taapsee For Winning Best Actress Award, Says 'No One Deserves...'

Kangana Ranaut wished Taapsee Pannu for winning the Best Actress Award at the recently held Filmfare Awards 2021.

Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu’s war of words has grabbed several eyeballs on social media. Kangana set several tongues wagging when she addressed Taapsee as ‘freeloader’ and ‘B-grade artist’ in her tweets. The ‘Pink’ actress shared a cryptic post after Ranaut launched a scathing attack on her Twitter.

Kangana, while responding to a tweet, has now congratulated Taapsee for bagging the ‘Best Actress’ award for ‘Thappad’ at the recently held Filmfare Awards 2021. “Thank you @taapsee well deserved Vimal elaichi filmfare award.... no one deserves it more than you,” Kangana tweeted while reacting a post.

Taapsee mentioned Kangana while accepting the award and said that the ‘Queen’ star had set the benchmark for other actresses. “Thank you so much, Kangana for pushing the boundaries. The benchmark of your performance keeps going higher every year,” Pannu said while winning the award.

For the uninitiated, Kangana’s sister Rangoli had slammed Taapsee for not acknowledging the ‘Panga’ star while praising the trailer of ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. Chandel even called Taapsee a ‘sasti copy’ of Kangana, which didn’t go down well with several celebs and fans. Since then, the two talented actresses have been engaged in rivalry, which has created lot of buzz in the inner circles of Bollywood.

Interestingly, both Taapsee and Kangana were nominated in the category of 'Best Actress' along with Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan and Janhvi Kapoor. Pannu pipped others to walk with the 'Black Lady'.

On the professional front, Kangana is gearing up for the release of 'Thalaivi', which is slated to hit the silver screens on April 23, 2021. She is playing the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in the film.

Talking about Taapsee, the 'Judwaa 2' star has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Shabhash Mithu', 'Rashmi Rocket', 'Dobaaraa' and 'Haseen Dilruba', to name a few.
