New Delhi: Salman Khan has a huge fan following and his fans celebrate the release of his films like a festival and at times get overboard in doing so. The same thing happened during the screening of his latest film 'Tiger 3' when a few fans burst crackers inside a theatre. Now, Malegaon police have registered a case against unknown persons under sections 112 and 117 of the Maharashtra Police Act after the video of fans bursting firecrackers inside a movie theatre went viral.

Earlier, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma had also shared the video on X. The video shows people bursting crackers as the film, also starring Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi, played on the big screen. Other people in the theatre, who were afraid of the crackers, can be seen running for cover and safety inside the theatre.

Sharing the video, Ram Gopal Varma wrote: "And we think we are not MAD (flushed-face emoji).”

There were other videos of Salman Khan fans setting off rockets inside the theatre.

Netizens were not happy with the incident and reacted negatively to the video slamming the fans for putting the lives of everyone at risk.

This is not the first time that such an incident has occurred, in 2021, during the release of ‘Antim: The Final Truth’, fans burst firecrackers inside a theatre.

Salman then took to social media and condemned the incident and asked fans not to do it. He had said: “Request all my fans not to take firecrackers inside the auditorium as it could prove to be a huge fire hazard thereby endangering your lives and also others.”

“My request to theatre owners not to allow firecrackers to be taken inside the cinema and security should stop them from doing so at entry point. Enjoy the film by all means but please please avoid, this is my request to all my fans.. thank you,” he added.

Meanwhile, Tiger 3 has collected Rs 44.5 crore in its opening day becoming Salman Khan’s biggest opener and highest grosser on Diwali.
