Panaji: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday (September 25) arrested Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades’s brother in Goa in connection with a drugs case, according to ANI. The NCB teams of Mumbai and Goa arrested Agisilaos Demetriades in a joint operation. 

The anti-drugs law enforcement agency revealed that the officials seized charas from him, as per ANI. Last month, the agency had also arrested Bollywood actor and former 'Bigg Boss' contestant Armaan Kohli after conducting a search operation at his house.

Agisilaos was also arrested by the NCB in 2020 in connection with a drug probe related to Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. He was booked under section 22 of the NDPS Act, a report in IANS said.  

According to the news agency, the South African national was arrested after the NCB got to know that he was in touch with the drug peddlers arrested in SSR's case. 

Bollywood Drugs Case

Last year, the NCB questioned Arjun Rampal and Gabriella as part of its investigation in the alleged Bollywood drugs case. The agency had summoned the duo after conducting a raid at the 'Rock On' actor's residence.

The NCB intensified its probe into the matter post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Several tinsel town celebs were summoned by the NCB to appear before the officials. The agency arrested several drug peddlers while investigating the alleged drugs angle in the Hindi film industry.

Arjun and Gabriella, who are in a steady relationship, welcomed a baby boy in July 2019. They have named their son Arik Rampal. 

On the professional front, Arjun Rampal will be next seen in Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Dhaakad'. He is playing the main villain in the spy thriller.
