Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa hogged all the limelight after the NCB raided their house on Saturday (November 21) and recovered 86.5 grams of cannabis. The couple was summoned by the drugs law enforcement agency after the banned drug was found at their residence in Mumbai.  The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Bharti on November after questioning her for over three hours yesterday. The agency nabbed Harsh on early Sunday (November 22) morning after a long interrogation. The NCB arrested the couple for allegedly possessing and consuming drugs under the NDPS Act. Their lawyer Ayaz Khan has filed a bail application, which will be taken up for hearing tomorrow (November 23).

Johnny Lever REACTS To Bharti Singh's Arrest

Veteran actor Johnny Lever, while talking to a leading daily, gave his two cents on the controversy surrounding the couple. He said that he would tell Bharti and Harsh to speak to their colleagues and ask them to not consume drugs.  The 'Ishq' actor gave the example of Sanjay Dutt and said that he confession about his drug addiction. "I would like to say one thing to both Bharti and Harsh. Once you guys come out, speak to your colleagues both young and old not to indulge in drugs. Look at Sanjay Dutt, he confessed to the world. What bigger example do you want? Accept your mistake and pledge to quit drugs. Nobody is going to come to give you a bouquet of flowers for this case," Johnny told Times Of India.

Bharti & Harsh Sent To Jail

Bharti Singh has been reportedly kept in the same cell as Rhea Chakraborty in Mumbai's Byculla Jail. Her husband Haarsh has been sent Taloja jail. Bharti and Harsh's arrest has shocked the inner circles of the film and TV industry. The NCB raided their house after it got specific information from the drug peddlers, who was arrested on Friday, the agency said. According to a report in IANS, the couple has confessed that they consumed drugs, following which they were grilled by the NCB officials and later arrested.
