New Delhi: On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the release of 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', actor Disha Patani paid tribute to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Disha uploaded a clip from the movie on Instagram that included her and Sushant, who passed away on June 14, 2020. The actor was found dead at his flat in Mumbai.


Sharing the video clip, Disha wrote a heartfelt note which reads as, "Grateful for this beautiful journey and my first film in Hindi cinema๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒธ Love whole heartedly and cherish the ones who make you happy safe and heard๐Ÿค life’s too short for regrets ! We couldn’t say goodbye but i hope you’re happy and at peace๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ–ค"






Disha's post got her industry friends hail her performance in the film. Aparshakti Khurrana wrote, "Deeeeee♥๏ธI have picture perfect memory of this scene."


Actress Mouni Roy, who is also Disha's BFF, commented, "You were the embodiment of love in this film. So so brilliant. Loved you โค๏ธ๐Ÿงฟ Onwards & upwards… always cheering the loudest for you …๐Ÿ•บ"


Anil Kapoor also appreciated the acting skills of both Disha and late Sushant Singh Rajput as he wrote, "Phenomenal scene ..๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ both of you are so good … ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘"


Disha Patani, in her Bollywood debut, effortlessly captured hearts across the country and became an overnight sensation, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.


Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one of the most renowned cricketers in our nation, is the subject of the biopic 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story', directed by Neeraj Pandey. The late Sushant Singh Rajput played Dhoni in the movie, which was released in 2016. Kiara Advani was also a part of it. Many people praised Disha for her girl next door appeal and her chemistry with Sushant.


The biopic ended up being one of Sushant's biggest commercial successes, and for his work in the movie, he received multiple nominations for Best Actor at the annual award shows.
