Delhi Election Results 2020: Vishal Dadlani Asks AAP Supporters To "Stay Humble" As Trends Suggest Party's Victory
As Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party is leading in the early trends of counting for the 70 Assembly seats in Delhi, singer-composer Vishal Dadlani asks supporters & followers to stay grounded.
New Delhi: The counting of votes for the 70 seats of Delhi Assembly began at 8am in the national capital today (February 11). As per early trends, Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has managed to take early lead leaving Congress & BJP behind. Popular music-composer & singer Vishal Dadlani, who was also seen campaigning for Arvind Kejriwal led party, took to his social media account and shared his happiness as AAP is leading in the counting.
In his tweet, he also suggested AAP workers to stay humble & grounded if they win. He tweeted, "Haare toh mehnat karenge, Jeete toh aur mehnat karenge. Not watching the counting. Too stressful. Will be back post-result. May whatever is best for India, happen. #AAP brothers & sisters, when we win today, stay humble, stay grounded. Jai Hind." The final results are expected to be out by afternoon post which Kejriwal will address the volunteers from the terrace of the party headquarters. AAP members are excited and the party office too has been decorated with blue and white balloons keeping in mind AAP's theme colour. On a related note, AAP had bagged 67 of the 70 seats in the 2015 Assembly elections. Now, it has to be seen if the party will break its previous record or not.
