Trade pundits are expecting ‘Darbar’ to set the box office on fire since Rajinikanth's last releases had set the cash registers jingling and it remains to be seen how his latest film will fare at the box-office. On a related note, 'Darbar' marks Rajinikanth's return to playing a police officer after 25 years. Rajinikanth was last seen playing a police officer in the 1992 Tamil film "Pandian".
