Kartik, who resumed work after recovering from COVID-19, remained in headlines due to his ouster from ‘Dostana 2’. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions issued a statement to confirm Aaryan’s exit and film’s re-casting.
A reliable source told ABP News that Johar was vowed to never work with the 'Luka Chuppi' actor because of his 'tantrums'.
The source said, “The reason for Kartik Aaryan to not continue with the film as stated by him is the creative differences after one and a half years and completing over 20 days of the shoot. This has never happened in the history of Dharma where an actor has walked out of the film for creative issues. Dharma has decided not to work with him in the future."
The 'Love Aaj Kal' star has not reacted to the controversy surrounding his exit from 'Dostana 2'. He will be next seen in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', which is slated to hit the silver screens on November 19, 2021. The horror comedy drama will also feature Tabu and Kiara Advani.
