South star Ally Arjun, known for his acting prowess, has tested positive for COVID-19. The ‘Arya 2’ star took to social media to share the news with his fans and requested them to not worry about his health as he is doing fine. Arjun went into self-isolation after contracting the virus and urged the people, who came in contact with him, to undergo a COVID-19 test. 


Allu provided a health update on social media and asked others to stay at home as a precautionary measure against the virus. He also urged his followers to take the jab of COVID-19 vaccine.  


“Hello everyone! I have tested positive for Covid. I have isolated myself. I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested. I request all my well-wishers and fans not to worry as I am doing fine.  Stay home, stay safe,” the 38-year-old tweeted. 



Fans offered prayers and sent their wishes to Allu Arjun on Twitter. They trended 'Get well soon Anna' on the micro-blogging site to pray for his speedy recovery. One user wrote, "Get well soon Anna @alluarjun. Sending love and wishes for your speedy recovery from uttar Pradesh."



"Get well soon anna ... Take some rest ... You are continuously doing shooting," another user tweeted.



On the professional front, Allu will be next seen in 'Pushpa', which is slated to hit the silver screens on August 13, 2021. The action thriller also stars  Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj in key roles. The Telugu film will also be dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.


On a related note, several Bollywood celebs including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt have tested positive for COVID-19 in recent times. They have now recovered from the virus.
