Coronavirus: Katrina Kaif Pledges To Donate To PM-CARES Fund & Maharashtra CM Relief Fund To Combat COVID-19
Katrina Kaif, who will next be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in 'Sooryavanshi', has announced that she will be making her contribution to the PM CARES Fund and Maharashtra CM Relief Fund.
New Delhi: Amid the novel Coronavirus outbreak in India, PM Narendra Modi recently announced the creation of the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM-CARES) and urged everyone to make donations and support this noble cause. Various Bollywood celebs including Akshay Kumar have contributed in fight against COVID-19. Now, Katrina Kaif too has announced that she will be making her contribution to the PM CARES Fund and Maharashtra CM Relief Fund.
The 'Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahaani' actress took to her social media account yesterday (March 31) and shared the same with her fans. On Instagram, she wrote, "I pledge to donate to the PM CARES fund and the Chief Minister's Relief Fund Maharashtra. Heartbreaking to see the hardship and suffering this pandemic has unleashed in the world."

Right from Rajnikanth to Ram Charan, names and celebrities nationwide are doing their bit in the battle against COVID-19. Speaking further about the Coronavirus outbreak, the total number of positive cases in India rose to 1347 on Monday including 138 recoveries and 32 deaths. Coming back to Katrina, she will next be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Rohit Shetty's cop drama "Sooryavanshi".
