New Delhi: The horror comedy Chandramukhi 2, directed by P. Vasu, was released last week on September 28. Raghava Lawerence and Kangana Ranaut’s 'Chandramukhi 2' made a good start at the box office. According to the sacknilk report, Chandramukhi 2 has made a whopping on its fifth day. The film has earned ₹4.50 crores across all languages so far; it has made ₹24,45 crore nett in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, with a total of ₹28,95 crore in India.


In the movie, actor Kangana Ranaut plays the lead role as the dancer Chandramukhi from the court of King Vettiyan Raja. She shows her outstanding dancing skills as well as her portrayal of a beautifully attractive, haunting dancer. On the other side, Raghava Lawerence portrays the role of Vettaiyan Raja.


Prior to the release of "Chandramukhi 2 ", Raghava met "Rajinikanth". Subsequently, he shared a video on his social media platform, X, with the caption, "Hi friends and fans. Today I met my thalaivar and guru, @rajnikanth, to wish him for 'Jailer' blockbuster success and get blessings for the Chandramukhi 2 release. I am so happy. Thalaivar is always great. Guru saranam.







'Chandramukhi 2' was supposed to be released on September 15 but was postponed to September 28 because of production issues. The eagerly anticipated Tamil horror comedy is a sequel to the Rajinikanth and Jyotika starrer blockbuster movie released in 2005.


Lyca Productions and Subaskaran are the producers of 'Chandramukhi 2', which has been released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Y. G. Mahendran, Ravi Maria, and other actors also appear in the movie. The horror comedy features incredible set design, stunning visuals, as well as some excellent CGI, including an exceptional-looking digital panther. Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani has  composed the music for the movie.


'Chandramukhi 2' was released alongside 'Fukrey 3' and 'The Vaccine War'.
