New Delhi: The comedy-drama film ‘Fukrey 3’, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba hit the silver screens on September 28, 2023. The film is the third part of the Fukrey series after ‘Fukrey 1’ and ‘Fukrey 2’, which were released in 2013 and 2017 respectively. It is safe to say that the film has been ruling the box office since its release. The film's cast features multiple stars, including Richa Chadha, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Pulkit Samrat, and Pankaj Tripathi.
Talking about the film's box office collection, as per the Sacknilk report, the film has achieved a total of Rs 55.17 crore in India and is on the verge of surpassing the Rs 60 crore mark by midweek.
‘Fukrey 3 has achieved a net total of Rs 11.69 crore in India as of the fifth day of its release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office numbers of the Pulkit Samrat starrer and said that the ‘holiday factor has also helped’ the film to sell more tickets.
As seen in the first two parts of the movie, Ali Fazal is not part of ‘Fukrey 3’. The actor had earlier confirmed that he had quit the franchise. Fazal said that he didn't get a chance to work in the film due to a clash in his schedule with the 3rd season of ‘Mirzapur’.
The most-awaited third part of the ‘Fukrey’ franchise, ‘Fukrey 3’, has been produced by Excel Entertainment, directed by Master Singh Lamba, and written by Vipul Vig. Farhan Akhtar is producing the film alongside Ritesh Sidhwani. This film marks the tenth anniversary of the release of the franchise.
