CASTING COUCH TALES: A film director wanted to sleep with Surveen Chawla

New Delhi: Surveen Chawla who is ruling the television these days with her thriller drama 24, is all set for her next ‘Parched’. According to reports, the actress who moved to films with ‘Hate Story2’ was asked for sexual favours by a South Film director in her career in early days. The actress revealed in an interview to TOI that she never faced such ‘sleazy’ offers in Hindi flm industry but she faced it in Tamil cinema. The actress said that the director didn’t know Hindi so he asked a friend to call her and make the offer with this promise that it would only last till the film’s confusion. She also mentioned that in her early days, her landlady asked her to leave her house as she arrived at 2 am after TV serial shoots.
