‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ Wraps Up Shoot Amid COVID-19; Lead Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi Says ‘Grateful That Safety Measures Were Thoroughly Implemented’

New Delhi: A sequel to the 2005 film ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, Siddhant Chaturvedi’s upcoming movie also stars Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee and debutante Sharvari. Directed by Varun V. Sharma, ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ is a crime-comedy film produced by Yash Raj Films. The first part of ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ starred the superhit couple of their times Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. Taking to his social media earlier today, Siddhant Chaturvedi shared a picture with the team of ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’. While sharing the picture, the actor wrote, “Wrapped up #BuntyAurBabli2 with one last song Grateful that the entire team made sure all safety measures were thoroughly implemented #SaifAliKhan #RaniMukerji @sharvari @varun.v.sharma @buntyaurbabli2 @yrf”

Speaking of the precautionary measures, Saif Ali Khan said, “These are highly sensitive times and actors, producers and crew will have to be extra cautious because there is a risk element. I was amazed by the steps taken to ensure that we have the best shooting experience. It felt safer than at home.” Rani Mukerji also told, “We had an amazing time shooting with each other. It brought back so many memories of us shooting before the pandemic and the entire team brought it all to the dance floor.” Debutante Sharavari also shared her experience of shooting her first movie and said that this film will always hold a special place in her heart and she is going to miss the entire team thoroughly. She shared a post on her Instagram thanking her team for all the love, laughter and learnings.
