According to NCB sources, Deepika accepted her WhatsApp drug chats after she was confronted with Karishma. When asked about the WhatsApp group, the ‘Chhaapaak’ actress said they were discussing about cigarettes and not drugs in the chats. She also admitted that she is the admin of the group.
Deepika left the NCB guest house after five-and-a-half hours of interrogation. The 'Tamasha' actress was escorted by security guards while leaving the guest house. Both DP and Karishma were allowed to go home at around 3.40pm after completing the formalities.
Some reports suggested that Ranveer Singh requested NCB to allow him to remain present during Deepika's questioning. The agency squashed all the rumours and denied receiving any request from the 'Gully Boy' actor.
The 'Bajirao Mastani' actress reportedly met her lawyers on Friday night before the NCB probe. She arrived from Goa to Mumbai on Thursday (September 24) in a charter plane. She was accompanied by Ranveer, who reportedly flew from Bengaluru to Goa.

The NCB officials also grilled Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor, who claimed that they saw late Sushant Singh Rajput taking drugs in his vanity van during shoot breaks. Sara and Shraddha worked with SSR in 'Kedarnath' and 'Chhichhore' respectively.
Shraddha, who was last seen in 'Baaghi 3' opposite Tiger Shroff, also told the agency that a party was held at Sushant's farmhouse in Pawna. However, she denied consuming drugs during the NCB interrogation.

The NCB questioned Rakul Preet Singh, Karishma Prakash and Dharma Productions executive producer Kshitij Ravi Prasad on Friday. Kshitij was detained by the agency after questioning.
