Bell Bottom: Vaani Kapoor To Romance Akshay Kumar In The Upcoming Film?

Last seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in last year's biggest hit 'War', actress Vaani Kapoor to play Akshay Kumar's leading lady in 'Bell Bottom'!

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who is basking in the super-success of his last release 'Good Newwz' co-starring Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, has various interesting films in kitty. The 'Sooryavanshi' actor in November 2019 announced 'Bell Bottom' which will be directed by Ranjit Tiwari. The film is a spy-thriller set in 80s and the actor's first look as a secret agent has already created a huge buzz. Now, latest buzz suggests that 'War' actress Vaani Kapoor will romance 'Khiladi' Kumar in it. According to reports, Vaani Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Akshay Kumar's wife in the film. "The script demanded a fresh pairing, Vaani was signed on a week ago and is excited for the shoot with Akshay. It’s not the usual female lead, a few romantic scenes and some songs. She plays Akshay’s wife and is integral to the narrative," a source close to the development informed a leading daily, adding that the makers are currently working towards developing a distinct look for Vaani. "Recce will start once the travel restrictions following the coronavirus outbreak are relaxed. The team is presently working towards recreating the 80’s decade with set designers and a visual effects team," the source further told Mumbai Mirror. However, the official announcement is still awaited. On the career front, Vaani Kapoor also has YRF's 'Shamshera' co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Whereas, Akshay Kumar has films like 'Sooryavanshi', 'Laxxmi Bomb', 'Prithviraj', 'Bachchan Pandey' & 'Atrangi Re' in his kitty. Stay tuned for more updates!
