New Delhi: The eagerly anticipated 'Bawaal' trailer is now out. The trailer of Nitesh Tiwari's romantic flick, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, was released on Sunday. The first trailer was revealed at a special event that the makers of the film held in Dubai.
Varun Dhawan is introduced in the trailer as a small-town guy who pursues Janhvi Kapoor's character. Despite the fact that they have nothing in common, they get married. The focus then shifts to Europe as Varun takes Janhvi on a tour of Paris and other sites crucial to World War II.
Prime Video shared the trailer on Twitter and it read, "pyaar se bawaal tak ka ek safar! produced by SajidNadiadwala and directed by niteshtiwari22 BawaalOnPrime, July 21 trailer out now."
The 'Bawaal' teaser, on the other hand, caught some viewers' attention with its depictions of gas chambers, Nazi Germany, and the Holocaust. While some viewers criticised Nitesh for romanticising the Holocaust, others suggested viewers wait to form judgements until seeing the complete movie.
Sajid Nadiadwala, who is co-producing the film, talked about the upcoming flick and said, "Set in the heartland of India, the gripping narrative takes viewers on a never-seen-before journey through Europe. We believe that a film that is rooted in India but has a global appeal deserves to reach customers not just in India, but all across the world."
The movie will have its direct premiere on Amazon Prime Video India instead of a theatrical release on July 21.
