New Delhi: Producer Vashu Bhagnani is making bold promises about 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', his upcoming movie starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, and its box office performance. In a video that his son Jackky Bhagnani posted, Vashu confidently predicts that the action-thriller film will gross an astounding Rs 1,100 crore at the global box office.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan maker predicts film's box office collection

Only two Hindi films—Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Pathaan' (Rs. 1,050 crore) and 'Jawan' (Rs. 1,148 crore)—have ever earned more than Rs. 1,000 crore worldwide, making this an extremely big claim. Several great blockbusters have failed to meet this benchmark.

In the clip, Jackky Bhagnani reminds fans that the  film is slated to hit the screens in seven day. “From the real life chote miyan to the real life bade miyan,” the actor said. He turns the camera towards his father and the latter says, “Chote miyan chinta mat kar, Rs 1,100 cr confirmed hai worldwide, 100 percent.”

There have been mixed responses to Vashu Bhagnani's overconfident prediction. A few of Akshay Kumar's fans are thrilled and believe the movie will break records. Some, meanwhile, believe the producer is too hopeful and has high expectations for the film.
