Mumbai Drug Bust Case: Court To Announce Verdict On Bail Plea Of Aryan Khan Tomorrow
Last week, the court had reserved its order on the bail applications of Aryan Khan and others in connection with seizure of drugs case till October 20, 2021.
Mumbai: A special NDPS court on Thursday (October 20) will pronounce its verdict on the bail application of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in connection with an alleged rave party case. Last week, the court had reserved its order on Aryan and other accused’s bail applications in the case till tomorrow.
After hearing the arguments between the NCB lawyers and advocates of the accused, Special Judge V.V. Patil kept his verdict on the bail applications of Aryan and others in abeyance till October 20.
The NCB told the court that though no drugs were recovered from Aryan during the raid, the star kid was in 'conscious possession' of the narcotic substance as he is linked with Arbaz Seth Merchant, from whom 6 gms charas was recovered, according to a report in IANS.

Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, who represented the NCB, said that Aryan was not a first-time consumer of drugs and there was evidence, which showed that he has ben taking drugs since the past few years, the report in the news agency added.
What Aryan Khan Told NCB Officials During Counseling?
A report in PTI said that Aryan underwent a counseling session and promised to work for the welfare of the poor and not indulge in any activity that would besmirch his name. The 23-year-old, while speaking to the NCB officials during the counseling, said that he won't do anything that could bring him negative publicity.
NCB's zonal director Sameer Wankhede and social workers were present during Aryan Khan's counselling. An official told PTI, "He said- 'I will do something that will make you proud of me'."
Why Was Aryan Khan Arrested?
The Narcotics Control Bureau conducted a raid at a rave party on a luxury cruise on October 2. Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha, Arbaz Seth Merchant and others were detained and later arrested in a seizure of drugs case. They were booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Aryan, Arbaz and other male accused are currently in judicial custody at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Central Jail while Munmun and another female accused was shunted to Byculla Women’s Jail.
