Alia Bhatt Heartbroken As Taj Hotel's Employee Passes Away Due To Coronavirus, See Her Post
Alia Bhatt mourned the demise of Ronald D'Mello, who often served the 'Raazi' actress and her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor at Taj Mahal hotel's Wasabi restaurant.
New Delhi: The Coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc, claiming several lives across the world. Over 400 people have died in India due to the deadly virus, according to the Union Health Ministry. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram story to mourn the demise of Taj Hotel’s employee Ronald D'Mello, who passed away due to COVID-19.
Ronald D’Mello was an employee at Taj Mahal hotel's Wasabi restaurant. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who are regulars at the restaurant, were often served by Ronald. The ‘Raazi’ actress shared a picture, which was taken on the last day of D’Mello at Taj Hotel, along with a heartfelt message.

The ‘Kalank’ actress called Ronald D’Mello a ‘true professional and one of the best in his field’.
"Heart broken to hear about the demise of Ronald Dmello..He truly truly was one the kindest most warm human beings, a true professional and one of the best in his field..Had the privilege to be served by him a number of times..He would always come up and ask about your day..This picture was taken on his last day of work as he was retiring! May his soul rest in peace!," Alia wrote while sharing a photo with Ranbir and Ronald.

Ranbir and Alia recently joined hands with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Priyanka Chopra to create awareness about Coronavirus through their short film titled 'Family'.
On the professional front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together for the first time in 'Brahmastra'. The star kid also has 'Sadak 2' and 'RRR' in her kitty.
