New Delhi: Ever since the untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the industry has found itself entangled in several controversies including nepotism, favouritism, insider vs outsider, and drug nexus. The tinsel town came under the radar of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) which is probing the drug angle in the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor’s death case.

Akshay Kumar recently addressed the controversies in a video which he shared on his social media. In the video, he acknowledged the use of drugs and narcotics in the industry and claimed that blaming everyone from related to Bollywood is not justified. He further went on to add that the usage of drugs is an illegal issue and the concerned authorities will take the right step in the matter thus requesting the media to be sensitive while taking names.

The ’Bell Bottom’ actor’s post did not go well some people and they called for an immediate ban on the ‘Rustom’ actor’s upcoming film ‘Laxxmi Bomb’.













‘Laxxmi Bomb’ is a comedy horror drama starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The movie will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar on November 9, 2020, in Australia, New Zealand and UAE. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Muni: Kanchana 2’.

The makers recently released a teaser which started with the text ‘When the outcast becomes outraged’. Akshay Kumar can be seen as a man with a Moustache, who later transforms into a transgender in the short clip.  “Iss Diwali aapke gharon mein “laxmmi” ke saath ek dhamakedar “bomb” bhi aayega. Aa rahi hai #LaxmmiBomb 9th November ko,” the 'Kesari' star wrote while sharing the video. Check it out!
