New Delhi: Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ ever since the project was announced. Yesterday, Khiladi Kumar shared a motion poster to inform the fans about the release date of the film on Disney+ Hotstar. The comedy horror drama co-starring Kiara Advani will premiere directly on the OTT platform on November 9, a day before the finals of IPL 2020.

Akshay Kumar’s character sported a moustache in the beginning of the motion poster. Later, his character transformed into a transgender, which created a lot of buzz on social media. Interestingly, the motion poster of ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ has become the most viewed motion poster with over 21 million views in less than 24 hours. Yes, you read that right!

‘Laxmmi Bomb’ was originally slated to hit the silver screens on Eid 2020. However, the film couldn’t release on its scheduled date due to the COVID-19 crisis. The makers had announced in June 2020 that the much-awaited flick will have a direct-to-web release on Disney+ Hotstar.

Fans are quite excited to see Akshay Kumar in the role of transgender, who will seek revenge from enemies in ‘Laxmmi Bomb’. The movie is the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Muni: Kanchana 2’, which was also directed by Raghava Lawrence.

If gossip mills are to be believed, the makers of 'Laxmmi Bomb' have sold the digital rights of the film for a whopping amount to Disney+ Hotstar. Considering the buzz surrounding the flick, we won't be surprised if it manages to break all viewership records on the streaming platform.
