Several tinsel town celebs including Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar, Shekhar Kapur, Dia Mirza expressed their grief and offered condolence to the Devgan family.
Karan Johar tweeted, "Deepest condolences Ajay....thoughts and prayers with the family."
"Really sorry to hear the news, Ajay. God bless his soul. Thoughts with you and your family. Please take care. Much love," Shekhar Kapur wrote.
Filmmaker Boney Kapoor, who is working with Ajay in 'Maidaan', offered his condolence to the actor and his family. "My heartfelt deepest condolences to you and your family. May his Soul rest in peace. Om Shanti," Kapoor wrote while replying to Ajay's tweet.
Ali Fazal tweeted, "Am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother Ajay bhai. Will pray for him. Condolences to the entire family."
Dia Mirza, who worked with Anil Devgan in 'Blackmail', mourned his death on Twitter. "Deepest condolences to the family. Have the fondest memories of working with him. Prayers for him," the 'Thappad' actress wrote on the micro-blogging site.
Anil Devgan made his directorial debut with 'Raju Chacha' which starred Ajay Devgn and Kajol in lead roles. He was the creative director of 'Son Of Sardaar', which released in 2012.
