As per sources, the ongoing CBI probe has also not found evidence related to murder of Sushant Singh Rajput.
When asked about the allegations of hiding facts and not cooperating with Bihar police, Singh said that Bihar cops were not authorized to conduct a probe in the case. He said that even the SC had ruled that the ADR investigation of Mumbai police would continue, while directing a CBI probe in the case.
He said many elements made attempt to demoralize the Mumbai Police and discredit them even when their investigation was fair. He informed that they had examined 56 witnesses in the case of which only 5 were related directly to the film industry. "The apex court found no faults with our investigation, all those who were challenging our investigation then, I challenge them to speak up about our findings. They were criticising it without knowledge, and were doing so with vested interests," he added.
