Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, known for his acting prowess, turned a year older on Friday (April 2). Several tinsel town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt and Sidharth Malhotra wished the ‘Tanhaji’ actor on his 52nd birthday on social media. Ajay’s wife and actress Kajol shared a cute post to wish her husband on Twitter. The ‘Devi’ star added a pinch of humour while wishing the ‘Raid’ actor on his special day.


Kajol, who is known for her wits, posted a picture wherein Ajay can be seen holding a camera. While the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actress wanted to capture a selfie, she could only manage a photo of the birthday boy holding a camera in his hand.

 “Tried getting a selfie but the only “selfie” I could manage was his “self” with another camera doing what makes him happiest. Happy Birthday… today and always,” Kajol tweeted.


Ajay responded to his wife’s post on the micro-blogging site and promised to take the ‘long overdue selfie soon.’ Their cute PDA will definitely make you say aww.



Ajay Devgn’s nephew Daanish Gandhi shared a never-before-seen throwback picture to wish the ‘Golmaal’ actor. He wrote, “Happy Birthday to the kindest soul I know.”


A young Daanish can be seen sitting on his uncle’s lap in the throwback snap. He also posted two more pictures with the ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ star on Instagram.

Ajay Devgn thanked his fans for their warm birthday wishes on Twitter. He said that he would have celebrated his birthday with them if the COVID-19 crisis didn’t affect everyone’s lives.


“Had it not been for the Pandemic, I would have celebrated my birthday with my fans & fan club members. Since that couldn’t happen, I thank each one of you for your unstinted support and sincere birthday wishes. Love, Ajay,” the actor tweeted.



On the professional front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in a full-fledged role in ‘Maidaan’. The sports drama is slated to hit the silver screens on October 15, 2021.
