Movie buffs are quite excited to see Kangana as former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in her biopic.

After creating waves with the trailer, the makers have released the first song from ‘Thalaivi’- titled 'Chali Chali'. The song beautifully captures the starting phase of late Jayalalithaa’s cinematic career.

Well I am not a patch on her, here is her debut song link, Chali chali is fashioned after ammmamma kaatru have a look."

‘Thalaivi’ will focus on Jayalalithaa's struggles in the film industry to rise as the female superstar. The movie will also chronicle her rise in the political arena and showcase how she changed the dynamics of Tamil Nadu politics.

It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The makers have decided to not postpone the movie’s release date despite rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
