Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Anil Kapoor to reunite after 17 years

NEW DELHI: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who stunned everyone with her ravishing appearances at Cannes is now all set to return to shooting life. The gorgeous actress has already informed us that she will be doing two movies this year. Along with Mani Ratnam's film, Aishwarya has signed a project with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Not only this, Rakeysh's film titled 'Fanney Khan' will also see two stars reuniting after a long time. Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor who were last seen in Subhash Ghai's 1999 flick 'Taal' will work together after 17 years. Both the actors shared the screen space for the first time in 'Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai' which released in 2000. However, according to a report in Mirror, the duo won't be paired with each other in the comedy musical which will be shot entirely in Mumbai. Prernaa Arora who is also producing the film told the daily, "We go on the floors by the year-end. It is a happy, slice-of-life film.We approached Aishwarya for the part and are glad she agreed to come on-board." Mehra is currently busy shooting for 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' which revolves around the friendship of four slum kids.
