Aishwarya, Jaya and other family members were tested using the rapid antigen kit after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19.
BMC officials have sealed Jalsa and sanitised the entire building after Amitabh and Abhishek tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The father-son duo has been admitted to Nanavati hospital. The PRO of the hospital released a statement on Sunday (July 11) and said that the 'Agneepath' star is stable with mild symptoms.
Both Amitabh and Abhishek have tested positive in their second test. Abhishek had requested his followers to stay calm while informing about his health.
"Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you," the 'Bunty Aur Babli' actor tweeted.
Abhishek Bachchan confirmed that Aishwarya and Aaradhya have tested positive for novel coronavirus. He took to Twitter to inform the fans that his wife and daughter will self quarantine themselves at their home. According to sources, the mother and daughter have mild symptoms.
"Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers," Abhishek tweeted.
