Ahead Of Rumoured Wedding With KL Rahul, Bride-To-Be Athiya Shetty Spotted Outside Mumbai Salon

Amid rumours about her wedding with cricketer KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty was spotted by shutterbugs.

New Delhi: Actor Athiya Shetty, who is rumoured to be engaged to cricketer KL Rahul, was spotted outside a Mumbai salon on Wednesday. On social media, a couple videos of the actor leaving a salon have gone viral. As it could be seen in the clips, the actor is beaming for the photographers. Athiya sported a green and yellow outfit along with sandals for the her day out. She wore minimal makeup.

Outside the salon, the actor took a quick glance around and briefly posed for photographers. Up until she got in her car and started driving, Athiya didn't stop smiling.

A day after KL Rahul's Mumbai home was photographed getting decorated, Athiya Shetty was spotted by the shutterbugs. White lights were strung around the building on Tuesday as a number of people working at it.

Despite the absence of official confirmation, there are decorations in the cricketer's Bandra residence, Sandhu Palace, in Mumbai that seem to be connected to the rumoured wedding.

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty's wedding would reportedly take place on January 23, 2023. Pre-wedding events are expected to take place at Suniel Shetty farmhouse in Khandala. 

"It is an extremely close-knit family affair. Only friends and family members will be a part of the wedding. It's most likely that you may not see many industry peeps," Hindustan quoted a source saying. 

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul made their relationship public on Instagram a few years back. They were snapped during the premiere of 'Tadap', which starred the actress's brother Ahan Shetty.

Athiya Shetty made her Bollywood debut with the 2015 movie 'Hero', in which also starred Sooraj Pancholi. She was last seen in the 2019 release 'Motichoor Chaknachoor' alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
