After 'BellBottom', Akshay Kumar To Work With Jackky Bhagnani & Pooja Entertainment In A New Film

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is on a roll these days. The ‘Rustom’ star, who is gearing up for the release of ‘BellBottom’, is all set to team up with the makers of the espionage thriller for another project. Yes, you read that right! 

The official Twitter handle of Pooja Entertainment shared a tweet to officially announce the upcoming film. The tweet read, “@akshaykumar and #PoojaEntertainment join hands once again after #Bellbottom for their next. @vashubhagnani @jackkybhagnani @honeybhagnani.”  

Akshay can be seen posing with Jackky Bhagnani in the picture, which was attached along with the tweet. Check out the post! 

Jackky expressed his happiness over working with Khiladi Kumar for the second time. He also thanked the ‘PadMan’ star for ‘believing and supporting’ his production.  

“So excited for this new journey! Thank you so much @akshaykumar sir for always believing in us and supporting us,” Bhagnani wrote on the micro-blogging site. 

When Is ‘BellBottom’ Releasing? 

The much-awaited flick, which has been directed by Ranjit Tiwari, will hit the silver screens on August 19, 2021. While Akshay is essaying the role of a spy, Lara Dutta will be seen as Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor and Adil Hussain are also playing pivotal roles in the movie. 

The trailer of 'BellBottom' has received an amazing response from the audience. It remains to be seen how the film performs at the box office.

Akshay Kumar’s Upcoming Films 

The National Award-winning actor has several films lined-up for release including ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘AtrangiRe’. Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’, which also stars Katrina Kaif, has been delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis. 

Akshay also has ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Raksabandhan’, ’Prithviraj’ and ‘Ram Setu’ in pipeline. His exciting slate of the films can make any Bollywood star envious, isn’t it?
