Actor Sachiin Joshi has received possession of his one kg gold after the Bombay HC directed Satyug Gold Pvt Ltd. to pay him 3 lakh and hand over the gold.
Mumbai: Actor Sachiin Joshi, who filed a complaint against Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, has won a long-standing court battle against Satyug Gold, a gold trading company formerly held by the couple. The Bombay High Court asked the company to hand over the possession of one kilogram of gold to the actor. The court also directed the company to pay a sum of Rs 3 lakh to Joshi towards the legal proceedings.
In his complaint, Joshi alleged that he was cheated by Satyug Gold Pvt Ltd, the company from which he purchased gold worth 1kg in a gold scheme.

"My legal battle was merely a representation of many of the investors of Satyug Gold who have invested in the gold scheme at a discounted rate, only to never receive the gold,” Joshi said as quoted as saying by News 18.
Sachiin said that Satyug Gold asked him to pay a penalty of Rs 25,50,000 to collect the gold for which he already paid an amount of Rs 18,57,870 six years ago.
The actor-turned entrepreneur also revealed why he decided to break his silence on the case now. He said that his ‘false and baseless allegations’ have turned out to be true.
"We got our 1 kg gold and 3L of fine that they had to pay us for making us go through this legal process where they were at fault since the very beginning and yes, about the cheque bounce case, we will win that too as it was stopped not bounced as we didn’t see any transparency in their dealings. I am glad karma finally caught up with Kundra," Joshi added.
Why Was Raj Kundra Arrested?
The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police arrested Raj Kundra for his alleged involvement in the production and circulation of adult films on Monday (July 19). A magistrate court sent him to police custody till July 23.
Purported WhatsApp chats between Kundra and others members of a group suggest that the businessman had devised a ‘plan B’ after Google Play took down his app HotShots from its platform, according to Mumbai Police sources.
The ‘plan B’ involved launching another mobile application to carry on the illegal activity of producing and distributing pornographic material, a report in PTI said.
