The 37-year-old actor from the South tweeted, "A new low for women's rights in the workplace in India. What were they thinking?" accompanied by a shot of the hoarding ad, where the 31-year-old star is featured carrying a woman on his shoulder.
The large ad poster shows Ranveer leaving presumably an office building, which has "Don't hold back. Take your work home." written on the wall in block letters.
