New Delhi: BTS member Jung Ho Seok, better known as J-hope, will soon join the other half of the boy band after his release from his military duty. The idol's management, BIGHIT MUSIC, officially announced that he would shortly be ending his active duty. On the other hand, the agency has made it clear that his release day will not be marked by any special activities. Supporters are asked to stay away from the site.


In a statement posted on Weverse, the agency expressed their excitement over J-Hope's impending military release. "We are excited to bring you the news of J-hope's upcoming military discharge. J-hope is close to completing his active service in the army and will soon be discharged."


The agency explained, "Discharge day is a day shared by many service members. To prevent any issues arising from overcrowding, fans are strongly advised to refrain from visiting the site. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts."


The agency thanked the fans for their constant support. "We are always grateful for your unwavering love and support for j-hope. Our company will continue to put our utmost effort into supporting our artists. Thank you once again for your continued love and support for BTS," the statement concluded.

About J-Hope


J-Hope is the lead dancer and rapper for BTS. The idol is not only an active participant in the creative process of making music but also in the production and composition of songs. In July of 2022, he released Hope in the Box, his first solo album. The gifted artist was also quite thrilled by his solo sets at Lollapalooza in 2022.


On April 18, 2023, J-Hope enlisted in the South Korean Army. He is now employed by the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju as an assistant teacher.
